The border to Czech Republic is only 10 km away. Due to the rapid-transit railway station in Bad Schandau you can also easily visit the art city Dresden.

Bei uns im Forsthaus sind Sie mittendrin und können direkt vom Hotel aus zu Wanderungen in alle Himmelsrichtungen starten. Der berühmte Malerweg gehört dazu. Der Kurort Bad Schandau ist ca. 3km von uns entfernt. Genießen Sie die Natur- und Felsenlandschaft der Sächsischen Schweiz, oder erleben Sie bei einer Dampferfahrt das Elbtal. Der Elberadweg bietet auch viele Möglichkeiten für Radtouren, auch bis in die Böhmische Schweiz.

It is a central starting point for trips and hikes into the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Enjoy the undisturbed panorama view on the Elbe river directly from the house.
